Sampson Community College strives to provide accessible and quality testing services to current students, prospective students, and the community. The Testing Center at Sampson Community College administers various assessment and certification exams, as well as national standardized examinations.

Pearson VUE® Testing Center
SCC has an authorized Pearson VUE® testing center that offers a variety of IT and professional certification and licensure exams. Popular exams include NES Foundations of Reading, Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, TSA-USA Hire, North Carolina Insurance, North Carolina Real Estate, CompTIA Testing, and more. Find your test and register via Pearson VUE®. Our testing center availability is made available during your registration process. Pearson VUE® exam fees are paid directly to Pearson VUE®.
In the event that it becomes necessary for us to close the testing center due to inclement weather or a natural disaster, you will receive an email from Pearson VUE® with information on how to reschedule your exam.
Hours & Location
The SCC Testing Center is located in Kitchin Hall and opens 30 minutes prior to scheduled tests.
- Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Check the college homepage for closure and/or delays dues to inclement weather
Reserve a Testing Area (Faculty/Staff Only)
Faculty and staff members can reserve testing areas by using the online scheduler. Students are not eligible to reserve testing areas. Reservations are subject to availability. Testing areas should only be used for official purposes. Please cancel your reservation promptly if it is no longer needed.
