Online Tutoring

Upswing is SCC’s 24/7 online tutoring service, and check-in portal.

*Note: Students under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian to use our online tutoring services. If you are under 18 and wish to use tutors online contact us prior to using the services.

Drop-In Tutoring

Face-to-Face Supplemental Instruction

Face-to-Face Supplemental Instruction is done by instructors. Please refer to their Schedule. The Office Schedule shows the time the Instructor is available. 

To schedule tutoring: All of the tutors schedules are in Upswing and that is how you will schedule your sessions with them. Our tutors will be at the top of the list of the course you need tutoring in.

The Math/Science Lab will meet in the Kitchin Conference Center in the LRC (across from the LRC circulation desk) at the scheduled times.

Peer Tutoring

Peer Tutoring is face-to-face with fellow students who have already taken the course and passed with at least a B. If you request a peer tutor, please give them at least a 2-3 day notice so they can prepare for the session.
