The Sampson Community College (SCC) Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that cultivates community support for SCC and seeks funding from the private sector to support the college mission. Gifts to the Foundation fund student scholarships, student programs, and support staff. The Foundation also promotes the college through community outreach events throughout the year.

SCC Foundation Scholarship
Each year, the SCC Foundation helps to change student lives. For the 2024-2025 academic year, over $200,000 was awarded through 100 different scholarships to more than 100 deserving students. These scholarships help local students, many of whom do not qualify for federal student aid. This money allows students to pay for tuition and books—which in many cases means not having to work two jobs, having extra money for child care, or being able to finish their degree sooner. Your gifts are not only helping in the short term, but are truly an investment in the people and future of Sampson County.
