Overview
The college offers two programs designed for adults who have not completed high school: the Adult High School Diploma (AHS) program and the High School Equivalency Diploma (HSE) program.
These programs provide instruction ranging from courses to meet the needs of individuals requiring basic literacy instruction to those designed to improve the skills of high school graduates.
Classes provide students 16 years of age and older who did not finish traditional high school the opportunity to obtain an equivalent credential.
These classes prepare students for exams such as the General Educational Development (GED) tests or HiSet exams.
Key Features of the HSE Program include:
Eligibility: Students must be at least 16 years old and should not have completed traditional high school
Exam Preparation: The curriculum covers the core subjects of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies to ensure a comprehensive education.
Diploma: Successful completion of the exams earns students a high school equivalency diploma
Class Availability: Classes are offered in person on weekdays and nights. Online classes offered depending on availability.
This program is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to pass the equivalency exams and achieve their educational goals.
Program offers an alternative pathway for individuals aged 16 and older who were unable to complete their high school education in a traditional setting.
