Overview
If you have been ticketed with a minor traffic violation in Sampson County, or any other county that participates in North Carolina’s Defensive Driving program, you may elect to have your citation reduced by completing a Defensive Driving Course.
This course is made available through Sampson Community College and the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina to train motorists in the principles and practices of safe driving.
Class Options
Sampson Community College offers three different programs that may minimize or prevent the assessment of points on your driver’s license and insurance policy. These 1-day classes can enable you to be a safer, more confident and more responsive motorist on the highway. The Defensive Driving courses offered at Sampson Community College are as follows:
- 4-Hour Defensive Driving
- 8-Hour Defensive Driving
- Alive at 25 Driving Education
