Learning Resource Center

The goal of the Learning Resource Center (formerly Library Services) is to help the school in its educational, occupational, and cultural efforts by carefully choosing, getting, explaining, and offering information resources.

Due to renovations, the LRC will have limited desktop computer access from now until the end of the Fall 2024 semester.

The LRC will close on Friday, December 13th and reopen January 2nd, 2025

Overview

The LRC staff and the materials housed in the LRC will help meet course objectives, supplement classroom work, assist with reference questions or problems, and enhance the use of free time.  Through networking, and interlibrary loan we have access to any materials available.

The LRC subscribes to two digital library collections and provides access to 97 digital resources which includes databases, journal articles, e-books, films via NC LIVE, and the resources of the State Library. Additionally, the LRC houses a physical collection of materials arranged for easiest accessibility.
