[Clinton, N.C.]– The Sampson Community College (SCC) Board of Trustees honored the service and dedication of two esteemed individuals at their monthly meeting on September 10, 2024.

Vivian Maynor was recognized for her years of commitment and leadership as a board member. Her service has been instrumental in guiding the college through significant growth and success throughout her four years on the Board.

In addition, the Board expressed deep gratitude to the family of the late Mr. Pat Jones, the longest-serving trustee in the history of the college. Mr. Jones dedicated an incredible 29 years of service, leaving a lasting impact on the institution. His wife, Mary Jones, along with their daughter, Tonya Wright, and her husband, Ben, graciously accepted the recognition on his behalf.
