Speaking on behalf of the College, she expressed, “I am extremely excited about this group of hires. Each of them brings a different skill set to the campus. I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to meet them from the very beginning at the time of their submission of application, through the interview process and up until an offer of employment is made. Our team at the College with both faculty and staff continues to get stronger each year. I look forward to watching these new hires do great things for SCC and its students.”

Hired in July 2023, Dylan Warner, Advancement Coordinator, is a former Sampson Early College High School (SECHS) student who returned to SCC ten years after graduating in 2013. In a quote, he stated that having his “life journey” bring him back to SCC as an employee has “been a blessing.”

“Taking a new step on your career path can be a daunting and terrifying experience,” Warner continued. “But the interactions I’ve had with the faculty and staff have been some of the most encouraging and welcoming experiences transitioning into a new location. The faculty and staff at SCC really put the ‘community’ in community college.”

Sampson CC is incredibly thankful to all the faculty and staff who make learning at SCC possible. Whether full-time or part-time, returning or new, each hire is valuable and essential to the success of the College and its students. SCC recognizes their continuous commitment and is thrilled to welcome numerous new employees this year. The College looks forward to seeing all they will do to help SCC and its students succeed.
