Instructor, HVAC (Night Adjunct)

Duties & Responsibilities

Skills

– Proficient in using technology and teaching aids to enhance learning experiences.

– Strong understanding of HVAC systems, industry codes, safety standards, and regulations.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, with expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance of heat pumps, water source heat pumps, and electric and gas heating systems. Previous teaching or instructional experience in a technical or vocational setting is preferred. *Willing to work 2-3 nights a week*   - Preferred Qualifications: - Associate degree or higher in HVAC technology or a related field. - Experience with online teaching platforms and blended learning environments.   Certifications: -  EPA Section 608 Universal License Required -  NATE or Esco certifications Recommended - HVAC contractor licenses (H3 class 1 or H2 licenses) Recommended
